Creating a Useful Spreadsheet From Miva Merchant Order Export Data: Step Four
This final step is not necessary in order to use the spreadsheet, however, you may want to eliminate the columns containing the old, inflated data.
Because the new columns get their data from formulas that reference the values in the old columns, you can’t just delete the old columns without losing your new data.Instead, you must first convert the data in the new columns from formulas to values.
Step Four: Convert the new Excel data from formulas to values, then delete the old columns
- Highlight column AK (TAX).Click the Edit menu and select Copy.
- Click the Edit menu again, and click Paste Special.Under Paste, select Values, then click OK.

- Highlight column AJ (ORDER_TAX).Delete.
- Highlight column AL (SHIPPING).Click the Edit menu and select Copy.
- Click the Edit menu again and select Paste Special.Under Paste, select Values, then click OK.
- Highlight column AK (ORDER_SHIP).Delete.
- Highlight column AM (TOTAL).Click the Edit menu and select Copy.
- Click the Edit menu again and select Paste Special.Under Paste, select Values, then click OK.
- Highlight column AL (ORDER_TOTL).Delete.Your spreadsheet is now ready for use.
