A three-way mirror for websites

We all know what it’s like to go shopping for a new pair of jeans, find a pair that looks great when we stand straight on in front of the mirror, but when we crane our necks around to take a look at the back, we realize there is no way in the world we would ever want to go out in public with our butt looking like that. If you haven’t looked at your website from multiple angles, you might be surprised at the view others are seeing…and you might not want your website going out in public, either.

One of the big challenges in web design is creating a layout that displays the same way in different browsers and on different platforms. You work and work and tweak and adjust, and get your layout looking juuuuuust right…and then you see the results of all your hard labor in a different browser, and holy horrors, it looks awful!

So, just like the three-way mirror in the dressing room, I’d like to share a nifty little tool to help you to get a look at your site from multiple angles. The browser list isn’t comprehensive, but it includes the main platforms and most common browsers, allows several refinements, and best of all, it’s free!
